Norris Lands First Offer

I’ve been touting the on field prowess of Lexington running back Jonah Norris (5-10,195)  since the preseason and this young man’s work is beginning to pay off. This past weekend, while visiting Coastal Carolina, Chants Head Coach Jamey Chadwell offered the 2023 back a PWO.

“He said they like me,” said Norris, “but don’t have any scholarships left for the 2023 class with their RB commits they have.”

Norris, who has rushed for 1002 yards and 12 rushing touchdowns in five games, leads the Midlands in rushing.

“I like th school and the campus,” said Norris. “I also like the fact that Coach Chadwell centers his work and actions around Christ and that is important to me.”

Norris has interest from several other schools, though no one has pulled the trigger yet. He missed half of the 2021 season with a hand injury, so he got behind in this cycle. But his prowess on the field and his film are going to tell a story that most recruiters want to read.
