Mid Carolina Head Coach Chris Arnoult knows he has a challenge ahead of him to get his Rebels competitive in 2022.
“We lost some key seniors last year and have some holes to fill,” said Arnoult. “We have a group of guys coming in that we feel will be able to step in and in some cases will make us better.”
Returning seniors to the team are FB/TELB Michael Lindler (6’1,220), RB Anthony Wicker (5’6,160), WR/DB Alton Jackson (5’9,165), OL Ian Pullen (6’0,220), DL Trey Poland (5’11,320), DL Alex Benton (6’4,305), DB Eric Hager (6’0,175), DB Graylyn Lewis (5’10,165), DE JP Thompson (6’2,220) and LB/WR Kyan Suber (6’2,175).
Only one returning junior starter is back and that is LB/DL Justin Dover (6’1,230).
“We have some good teams on the schedule and in the region,” said Arnoult, “but anything less than making the playoffs will be a disappointment.”
