1. Dutch Fork at Spartanburg – If you want to make the trek to Spartanburg, you’ll get to see some offense; Spartanburg does not look very good on defense and Dutch Fork is primed for some big scoring.
2. Swansea at River Bluff – It’s close and you’ll get a good look at the best football athlete in the Midlands, Stephen Collier. Added bonus, strong offense from sophomore QB Parker Murray and RB Cooper Johns is fun to watch.
3. Sumter at Ridge View – This is worth the price just to see these receivers for Ridge View go against a solid secondary for the Gamecocks.
4. Gilbert at Batesburg-Leesville – This will be a blow out but watching this two headed monster running back combo of Alias Graham-Woodberry and Jaden Allen-Hendrix is going to be entertaining.
5. Gray Collegiate at Crestwood – If you want to see a good quarteback duel, War Eagle junior Riley Staton’s team will trade drives with Knights’ junior quarterback Javion Martin. Staton won a 2A Championship last year; Martin was his region’s co-offensive player of the year.
6. Fairfield-Central at Andrew Jackson – Explosive offense against solid defense. Worth the admission to watch this freshman quarterback of Fairfield-Central, Cam McMIllon, throw the ball around the yard to sophomore Ty Grier and senior Jai Boyd.
7. AC Flora at Dreher – This won’t be competative but watching the offense of this Falcon team with their stellar ground game and explosive passing game will be exciting.
8. Richland Northeast at Blythewood – I really don’t know what will happen in this game but I know that watching RNE sophomore quarterback Will Wilson will be worth the price of the ticket.
9. Lexington at South Aiken – It’s an hour drive but watching this Lexington offense is worth the drive. Look for another big game from WR Kamadi Maxwell and QB Taiden Mines.
10. Hannah-Pampllico at North Central – Granted, this is not a marquee match up but this North Central team is going against the odds with a coach that’s been head coach for a little over a month and, honestly, I want to see this sophomore quarterback the Knights have, Landan Anderson. I think he may be another strong one in that 2025 class.
