Under the Radar: Dutch Fork DL Alexander “AJ” Johnson

The Midlands is loaded with talent on the defensive front, and today, we introduce you to, yet another, defensive line standout.

Alexander “AJ” Johnson of Dutch Fork is a 6-3, 250lbs defensive end from the Class of 2023.

The rising senior started as a junior for the 5A State Runner Up Foxes and finished the season with 55 tackles, 8 for loss, 4 sacks, 1 FR, and 2 deflected passes.

He has one division II offer from North Greenville but his prowess will draw even more attention this season.

He’s the younger brother of NBA star Jarrell Brantley.

SCVarsity will continue to watch and highlight his play through this season.
