USC target WR Jayden Gibson of Winter Garden, FL has set October 13th for his commitment announcement. He has had USC, Georgia, Auburn, Florida, Tennessee, Miami, Baylor and Florida State as his finalists, and he said he will take the eight to the end. Gibson made official visits to Miami and Baylor in June, and unofficial visits to the other schools in June and July. He might get in another visit or two before his announcement, but nothing has been scheduled.

Five-star 2023 LB Anthony Hill of Denton, TX named Clemson in his top 12. The others are Penn State, Texas, Southern Cal, Miami, Michigan, Texas A&M, Alabama, LSU, Florida State, Ohio State and Oklahoma. Hill is ranked the #1 linebacker nationally in his class and the #19 prospect overall. Last season he recorded 105 tackles with 11 tackles for loss and 3 sacks.

Clemson target WR Andre Greene Jr. of Richmond was offered by Vanderbilt. He has had a favorites list of Clemson, Penn State, Georgia, LSU, Florida and North Carolina.

2023 RB Jarvis Green of Dutch Fork will visit Wake Forest Saturday. He was at Clemson last Saturday.

2023 QB Carson Black of Nation Ford was offered by Appalachian State.

2024 QB Jadyn Davis of Catawba Ridge will visit Penn State this Saturday.

OT Ta’Chawn of Brooks of Dutch Fork and Independence JC, KS was offered by Maryland.

Gaffney OL/DL Sawyer Whitman (6-1 285) committed to The Citadel
