5A Region 3
Clover is the best team in this region and everyone else is playing for second. I believe Blythewood can finish second here while Spring Valley will battle for third and possibly finish fourth.

5A Region 4
There are four teams who could challenge for the too spot. Dutch Fork is limping and vulnerable on offense. I still think their defense is good enough to win it. Lexington has the most explosive offense in the region but defense can be suspect at times. White Knoll is playing very good defense and is going to be a spoiler for someone. River Bluff is dangerous on offense but, like Lexington, lacks speed on defense and can be scored on. I don’t see Chapin winning a region game. Keep in mind, #1 and #4 will play in upper state bracket in playoffs while #3 and #4 go lower state.

5A Region 5
Sumter is the best team in this region, but that’s not saying a lot. Conway and Carolina Forest are both down this year, Socastee has a good athlete at QB and little else, and St James is simply not very good. I predict anyone other than Sumter will be one and done in playoffs.
