All Midlands Players of the Week: Week Five

The All-Midlands Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week is an honor to these young men who capture the awards. There are approximately 1600 to 2000 varsity players in our coverage area, so the competition for these awards is fierce.These awards remain unsponsored to prevent compromise of the selection process due to potential “lobbying” or influence from would be sponsors.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK -WEEK FOUR

 

 

Harrison Collins, QB, Blythewood

Harrison passed for 415 yards and 5 touchdowns and rushed for a 6th touchdown in the Bengals’ come back win over Goose Creek on the road.

Jacob Schrodt, LB, Lexington

Jacob collected 13 total tackles, 2 tackles for loss, a PBU and an interception that resulted in a 14 point swing and allowed the Wildcats
to go up by two scores over Gilbert.
