The Lugoff-Elgin Demons have a handful of prospects on their roster for the 2023, 2024 and 2025 classes. One of hte players who has made an impression on me on film is 2023 Linebacker Chandler Rush.
The 6-3,195lbs athlete played defensive end for the Demons in 2021. But this year will see play at outside linebacker. He’s athletic enough to play in a 4-3 set because he can cover a lot of space and has good coverage skills. Last season, he finished the year off with a pic-6 in each of the last two games.
Because of his time at defensive end, he fits in a 3-4 scheme well, also. He has the abiliyt to be a dangerouso edge rusher and can beat would be blockers with his quickness.
Rush has one offer on the table from Erskin but is sure to turn more heads as a senior this season and I expect his recruiting to blow up. He’s a good student with a 3.1 GPA on the 4.o scale.
