Lower Richalnd is expecting to continue their recent success on the gridiron and one of the players who is going to help them do that is rising senior Deamonti Garrett (6’2, 235).
Last season, Garrett played on the edge of the Diamond Hornet defense and showed some prowerss as a pass rusher. He finished the season with 60 solo tackles, 9 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, 11 tackles for loss and 20 QB hurries.
He’s an explosive, aggressive player with a nost for the ball. He has a wide open motor and this season, Lower Richland is going to give him a try at linebacker. He has the athleticism to play there and should be a force for them in the middle of the defense.
