The Crestwood Knights finished 2021 with a 6-3 mark and 4-1 in region play, finishing 2nd in the region to state-runner up Camden. A lot of that success can be attributed to their young quarterback, Javion Martin (6-3,180).
The rising junior is a mobile quarterback and a dynamic player on the offensive side of the football. He won the Co-Offensive Player of the Year award for 3A Region VI. He finished the season with 1,242 yards and 12 scores, completing 73 of 133 passes.
Martin has talent suro0unding him in some very good junior and senior skills players and should be a force again in 2022. I look for him to be one of the top five signal callers in the Class of 2024 as we move towards evaluating that recruiting cycle.
