DUTCH FORK AT CHAPIN
The Chapin Eagles have played very
good football on the offensive side with outstanding quarterback play. But they
are about to face a machine in Dutch Fork who has no weaknesses and have outscored
their opponents 268 to 53 and have of those 53 points were from one team –
Mallard Creek.
Dutch Fork QB Ty Olenchuk has passed
for 1,409 yds and 18 TDs while RB Jon Hall has rushed for 552 yds and 14 TDs.
Defensively, the Silver Foxes are led by LB Anthony Demasi with 50 tackles, 2
for loss and 1 sack.
Players to Watch: Dutch Fork QB Ty
Olenchuk, RB Jon Hall, LB Anthony Demasi, DB Evan Stone, DB Tyrik McDaniel; Chapin
QB Roger Pedroni, WR Zavier Short, OL Josh Taylor
My Pick: Dutch Fork
WHITE KNOLL AT LEXINGTON
The Timberwolves of White Knoll are unbeaten with a high-powered offense fueled by their quarterback play. Lexington is not flashy but have managed a 5-1 record and played at least three quality games, going 2-1 in those match ups.
This Wildcat team defense is as good
as any in the Midlands and they may have the best group of linebackers in the
state collectively. Offensively, running backs Ahmad Bynem-Scott and Taylor
Mathias are the leaders.
White Knoll success begins and ends
with QB Aveon Smith. The senior signal caller has 598 yds rushing and 8 TDs and
has passed for 854 yds and 16 TDs.
Players to watch: White Knoll QB
Aveon Smith, WR Darius Derrik-Jones, RB TJ Peebles; Lexington LBs Josiah Schrodt, David Cromer and
Levi Gulasa; RBs Ahmad Bynem-Scott and Taylor Mathias
My Pick: Lexington
