Recruiting: Sumter Gamecocks

The Sumter Gamecocks are loaded with next level talent, including four players in the 2020 Class with Division I offers.

DB Odonnell Fortune (6-2, 180) is my top DB in the state and has committed to USC.

WR Tylee Craft (6-4,180) is one is committed to UNC.

LB Donte Coleman (5-10,205) has interest from Middle Tennessee. This kid needs to get some more looks. His height is what is holding up the Power Five guys but this kid can flat out play and is physical.

LB Kirkland Boone (5-10,210) is in the same boat as Coleman on height. He is physical and can run. He’s generated a lot of small school interest but no offers yet.

The Class of 2021 already has two players with Power Five offers and two more with high interest from several schools.

LB Deshawn McKnight (6-2,210) has an offer from Duke

DE Justis Boone (6-5,250) has an offer from USC

QB Hayden Vasquez (6-1,200) has been getting a lot of interest from several schools.

WR Marcus Lane (5-8,162) is a slot guy who has been overshadowed by the upperclassmen but can play next level ball.

Class of 2022 and 2023 players that should be Division I prospect as they continue to develop.

2022 DL Tajon Roach (6-0,225)
