Power Five Schools are Missing the Boat on Aveon Smith

Aveon Smith, QB, White Knoll HS (6-2,200) is a kid that the Power-Five schools need to look at. He can flat out play. He has rushed for 514 yards averaging 8.3 yards per carry and scored 8 rushing touchdowns; he has completed 41 of 69 passes for 854 yards and 16 touchdowns.

He’s got a cannon for an arm, gets the ball out quickly and if you don’t like him as a quarterback then put him at running back because he is a very electric player with the ball in his hands.

He is committed to Miami (Ohio) and this is not a knock on them but he is WAY bigger than that.

The major DIs need to quit looking at freaking templates that they want a kid to fit in and offer them based on whether or not they can play.
