CLASS 4A TOP POSITION: Defensive Line
This group may not be deep in Division I offers, but it is the strength of the positions. Brookland-Cayce, Ridgeview and Lower Richland all return at least two players up front who will be game impactors. As for individual players, several all-region guys at the position.
CLASS 4A MOST HIGHLY RECRUITED: Christian Horn, Westwood
Committed to App State but had a half dozen Division I offers on the table prior to committing.
CLASS 4A MOST UNDER RATED: Ahmon Green, QB, Westwood
Green is a heck of an athlete and should be getting a lot more interest than he’s garnered. He has one offer on the table from Georgia State, with several Division I schools eyeballing him closely. Last season, Green passed for 2,300 yards and 23 touchdowns and, in my opinion, is one of the more dynamic offensive players in the Midlands.
