Batesburg (SC) running back Marvin Gantt is a player to watch for the Class of 2021. The rising junior, who plays both sides of the ball for the Panthers, started at defensive back as a sophomore while rotating in at the running back position on offense.
On defense, Gantt had 79 tackles (56 solo), 3 sacks, 11 tackles for loss, 1 INT, and 4 FF. On offense, he carried the ball 40 times for 344 yards and 9 scores and hauled in 26 receptions for 285 yards and 2 touchdowns.
The 5-8, 180lbs athlete has an offer from Judson University in Illinois, and had several camp invites to division I programs. He was an all-region Defensive Back in 2018.
