Coach’s Audible: We will be very young and really young on Defense. We will really have to grow up over the summer. This is a good group and a young talented group as the summer and season goes we should continue to get better. Offense will lead until defense can catch up.

OUTLOOK: The Griffins are a young football team on the defensive side of the football, returning just two starters from a defense that gave up 24 points per game last season. They will compete for the top spot in this region, as they do each season.

My take: The Griffins need to improve on defense and it will be a challenge with a young football team. Offensively they will be strong and I feel they will compete for the top spot and at worst finish with a 2nd place spot.
